These terms cover your use of the SportsOne website. By reading the site you accept them.
Using the site
SportsOne is free to read. You may link to any page, quote briefly from an article with attribution, and share our stories on social platforms.
You may not republish an article in full, present our reporting as your own, scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or use our material to train a model without a written agreement.
Our journalism
Every story is written and edited by the SportsOne desk. Scores and fixtures are compiled by the desk and published as a static page, which means they are accurate as of the last update shown, not to the second.
We correct mistakes. If you believe something we have published is wrong, tell us and we will look at it.
Copyright
The words, page designs and the SportsOne name and marks belong to SportsOne. Photography may be licensed from third parties and is credited where required.
Liability
The site is published in good faith and without warranty. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of anything published here, including betting decisions.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies.
Image credits
Every photograph on this site is published under a licence that permits reuse. Each image used on a story carries a credit beneath it indicating the photographer and the licence under which it is published. Where a photograph is used as a file image rather than as the moment described in the story, the caption on that story will say so.
A complete list of images, their credits and licences is maintained by the desk and is available on request.
Accessibility information
SportsOne is built to be read by everyone, on any device, with or without a mouse.
What we do
- Keyboard. Every link, menu, dropdown, carousel and filter can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
- Screen readers. Pages use real headings in order, landmarks, and labels on every control. Photographs carry meaningful alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
- Motion. Carousels rotate on their own, but stop while you are hovering, swiping or tabbing through them — and if your system asks for reduced motion they do not rotate at all.
- Contrast. Text meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast in both the light and dark themes.
- Zoom and text size. The site reflows to 320px and to 200% zoom without loss of content, and nothing scrolls sideways.
- No time limits. Nothing on the site expires or times out as you read.
Privacy options
This is where sites normally let you manage tracking and advertising preferences. On SportsOne there is nothing to manage, and this explains why.
Tracking
There is none. SportsOne sets no cookies, loads no analytics and carries no advertising or third-party tags. There is no profile of you to opt out of.
Fonts and images
Every font and image is served from sportsone.world itself. No request leaves for a font service, a CDN or an image host as you read, so no third party sees your visit.
Your browser’s own controls
The controls that do affect your reading are the ones your browser already gives you, and this site respects all of them:
- Dark mode. SportsOne follows your system light or dark setting.
- Reduced motion. Turn it on and the carousels stop rotating on their own.
- Text size. Every size on the site scales with your browser’s text setting.
- Do Not Track. We have nothing to send, so there is nothing to honour.
If SportsOne ever adds analytics, advertising or third-party embeds, this page will become a working set of controls and you will be asked before anything is set.
